Lots of Lovely Best Bits – w/c 09.09.13

A Whole Lot of Lovely has been super busy this week. Amongst the orders I have been busy finishing off and shipping a fabulous Glorious Gatsby order for a Gatsby themed American Wedding, and some beautiful Save the Dates with a Vintage Beetle twist! Keep an eye on my facebook pages for pics after the couples have shared them with their guests.

Amongst all the pretty paper fun, I’ll be heading up north to Newcastle for the Great North Run this weekend, so today’s post has been scheduled ready for you as I watch the start of the race… I’m sure I’ll be pretty jealous that I couldn’t take part this year – it’s such a fantastic atmosphere up there and the feeling of achievement when you cross that finish line can’t be matched!

So hopefully whilst I’m stood in the cold, you’ll be nice and warm at home, so sit back with that Sunday brew and have a look at some of the best bits I’ve picked out to share with you this week. Enjoy!

Introducing… A Whole Lot of Lovely

As my little business grows, I’m coming across more and more people who are looking to share something beautiful with the people they love. It is that very sentiment that lies at the heart of A Whole Lot of Lovely – creating something beautiful to wow your guests and treat those you love. In every design collection, my ultimate aim is to create something pretty that means something special to my customers – that will make their eyes open a little wider and their heart beat a little faster!

This week I created a little video to share some of what A Whole Lot of Lovely is all about Рclick on the icon below to take a peek!

I hope you love it! The music is all about creating memories… that is exactly what my stationery can do for you and your guests.

Thanks for taking the time to watch my little video – if you too are as passionate as me about making the world a prettier place to be, please share my video with your friends and family… my business grows by word of mouth, and I’d love to bring some paper pretty into more people’s lives!

Girls and Their Pearls

For any of you out there that know me well, you’ll know that I love my jewellery. Whether it is an investment piece or just costume jewellery,¬†I have a¬†lot of love for a pretty bracelet and a penchant for a drop earing. I’m less about the¬†bling (although a little sparkle¬†can be¬†a wonderful thing!) and more about understated, feminine classic pieces… and this is where my love for pretty pearls comes in.

For anyone who shares a similar love for pretty pearl detail, they can make a beautiful feature in so many elements of styling your wedding or other special occasion. Pearls lend themselves well to a classical elegant style and used in different ways can add a little decadence or a romantic feel to a classically styled event.

You will find lots of ideas of how you can incorporate pearls into styling your big day over on my Pinterest Boards. I’ve pulled out a few of my favourites from my Pearl Pretty board¬†to share with you below…¬†Pearls-Montage

If you love these images as much as me and choose to incorporate pearls into your special day, remember you can carry this theme through to your invitations and stationery too. Many of the designs in my collection have pearl detail - from small detailing on the ribbons in Floral Notelet, Ribbon & Pearls, and Vintage Floral, through to being a main feature of the design in Pearl Delight.

Remember, if you love a design and you’re looking for invitations for any special occasion,¬†I can personalise the designs to¬†suit your event. If you do like a design please get in touch¬†to order a sample!

Until next time,¬†I’ll leave you to enjoy some of my pretty pearl details and explore the site!
